Central Railway enables Digital Mobile Ticketing services for non-suburban stations.
Central Railway has decided to enable the Paperless/Digital Mobile Ticketing facility to Non-suburban stations with effect from 12.10.2018.
Uptill now Mobile Ticketing facilities were restricted to suburban stations only, but with this new initiative Mobile Ticketing facility will be available for both suburban and non- suburban passengers.
Central Railway has initiated several campaigns to popularise the UTS mobile app which has improved overall passenger/user experience and extending this facility to non-suburban users will simplify the ticketing process for non-suburban passengers and make their journey more comfortable. It will also save time & paper.
