A] OPD Services:

01] OPD services – consultation [general].

02] Specialist – General Surgeon, Eye specialist, ENT & Orthopedics.

04] Periodical & Examination of candidates & employees.

05] Ante natal registration.

B] Indoor Treatment: 50 bedded hospital treating Medical, Surgical, Gynecology, Eye patients.

C] Super Specialty: King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital is recognized for emergency care & Heart care.

D] Causality Medical Services: Available round the clock.Ambulance facility is available.

E] Referral: Referral services are provided & patients are referred to

  • Dr. B. A. M. Railway Hospital, Byculla (Zonal Hospital)
  • Sassoon General Hospital [Government Hospital].
  • King Edward Memorial Hospital, Pune [Recognized Private Hospital.]

F] Laboratory Procedures:

Semi auto analyzer is available.

Complete basic blood biochemistry with other lab investigations carried out.

G] Family Welfare:

HIV/AIDS – Surveillance of HIV/AIDS cases is carried out.

All National &State Health Programs and School health programs are carried out.

Reproductive and Child Health Program is Implemented.

 

H] Health Services:

Prevention of Food Adulteration checking: Done.

Potable water checking: Done.

Sanitary staff and nature of supervision exercised:

Sanitation of the Division is managed by 15 Health Inspectors and 265 no. of conservancy staff.

DCHI is looking after RSC/PA apart from divisional work.

One CHI is looking after section from Ghorpuri to Koregaon including staff colony, GPR.

One HI is looking section from SVJR to MVL.

One HI is looking after Pune station.

One HI is looking after Miraj Station & Colony.

 

Drainage:

Open drains are maintained by medical department and underground drains are maintained by engineering department.The drainage is connected to the underground sewerage lines of PMC.

 

Drinking Water Source and Distribution:

 

Potable water is supplied at Pune and Miraj through engineering department and checks done by medical department.Tests for chlorination are done by Health Inspectors and bacteriological & chemical examination is done through Railway & State Laboratories.
