About Us
Traction Rolling Operation (TRO) Organization is headed by Sr. DEE/TRO/BSL assisted by ADEE/TRO/BSL along with Loco Inspectors & Technical supervisors.
Brief History
Electric Traction in Bhusawal Division was first started in 1969 on Igatpuri - Bhusawal section. Now almost entire division, i.e. Bhusawal - Igatpuri (307.61 RKM), Bhusawal - Khandwa (123.47 RKM), Bhusawal - Badnera (218.53 RKM) alongwith branch lines of Jalamb-Khamgaon (12.34 RKM ), Badnera- Amravati (9.09 RKM), Manmad-Ankai Kila (13.11 RKM) & Manmad-Ankai(16.00 RKM), Badnera - Chandur Bazar (40.45 RKM), Chalisgaon- Dhulia (56.39 RKM) is electrified with a route KM of 796.99,except Murtizapur- Achalpur (76.56 RKM), Murtizapur- Yeotmal (112.27 RKM), , Pachora- Jamner (55.62 RKM). The TRO organization came into existence in 1991-92 with the unification of crew

ØLoco crew Management.
ØMaintenance of Running rooms, lobbies and trip sheds.
ØManagement of operation of Electric locos.
ØTimely feeding of locos to ELS/BSL for schedule inspections.
ØTrip inspections at Trip Shed BSL.
ØOut pit checking at MMR & AMI.

Infrastructure
Crew Booking Lobbies- There are 06 Crew Booking Lobbies located at Khandwa, Bhusawal (Passenger), Bhusawal (Goods), Badnera, Nandgaon, and Manmad in Bhusawal division.
Running Rooms-There are 06 Running Rooms in Bhusawal division. Their locations with bed capacity is as follows:- BSL-250, BD-152, MMR-112, NGN-79, IGP-67,KNW-92. There are separate bed rooms with attached toilet for ladies running staff in all running rooms. Subsidized meals facility, Housekeeping & Linen washing is outsourced in all six running rooms of BSL division (BSL, KNW, IGP, MMR, BD & NGN).
Driver’s Training Centre-Drivers’ Training Centre is located at BSL in Old Steam Loco Complex. Running staff is imparted training not only on loco troubleshooting but also on Traffic and Safety rules.
Trip Shed/Out pit-Trip shed at BSL & Out pit checking at MMR & AMI. All trip sheds are provided SLAM (Software for Loco Asset Management) software to keep record of maintenance work.
