Ganpati Special train services announced by Central Railway till date totals up to 306-
Includes 2 Specials between Mumbai -Sawantwadi Road and
2 Specials between Mumbai-Nagpur
Indian Railways has announced 380 Ganpati Special train trips till date for 2025.
Central Railway is operating the highest number of 306 services addressing the heavy festive travel demand in Maharashtra and the Konkan region.
The latest addition to Special Trains is
2 Special services between Mumbai -Sawantwadi Road and
2 Special services between Mumbai-Nagpur
Details are as under:
1.LTT- Sawantwadi Road –LTT Special (2 trips)
01111 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 01.00 hrs on 25.08.2025 and will arrive Sawantwadi Road at 15.15 hrs same day.(1 trip)
01112 special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 18.00 hrs on 25.08.2025 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 04.50 hrs next day.(1 trip)
Halts: Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg and Kudal.
Composition: one AC-2Tier, 6 AC-3Tier, 9 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second class, 1 Second Seating cum Guard’s brake van and 1 Generator car.
2.CSMT-Nagpur-CSMT Special (2 trips)
01101 special will leave CSMT at 00.30 hrs on 26.08.2025 and will arrive Nagpur at 15.50 hrs same day.(1 trip)
01102 special will leave Nagpur at 17.20 hrs on 26.08.2025 and will arrive CSMT at 08.25 hrs next day.(1 trip)
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha.
Composition: one AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 7 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s brake van.
