Central Railway enables Digital Mobile Ticketing services for non-suburban stations.


Central Railway has decided to enable the Paperless/Digital Mobile Ticketing facility to Non-suburban stations with effect from 12.10.2018.


Uptill now Mobile Ticketing facilities were restricted to suburban stations o­nly, but with this new initiative Mobile Ticketing facility will be available for both suburban and non- suburban passengers.


Central Railway has initiated several campaigns to popularise the UTS mobile app which has improved overall passenger/user experience and extending this facility to non-suburban users will simplify the ticketing process for non-suburban passengers and make their journey more comfortable. It will also save time & paper.
