CR to Rehabilitate & Repair Foot Over Bridge at Thane station.

Central Railway will undertake rehabilitation and repairs of old Foot Over Bridge at Thane station (Kalyan end) from 02.02.2019 to 11.04.2019. The Foot Over Bridge will remain closed for passenger movement during this period. The work will be done in two phases as under :

Phase 1 will involve work from 02.02.2019 to 11.04.2019 (69 days) o­n Platform no 2&3 o­n Down slow line and Up slow line. Approach to the FOB from Platform no 2&3 will be closed during this period.

Phase 2 will involve work from 22.02.2019 to 11.04.2019 (49 days) o­n Platform no 4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 & 10A o­n Up slow line, Up fast line, Down fast line, 5th & 6th line and Trans Harbour lines. Approach to FOB from Platform no 4 to Platform no 10A will be closed during this period

Blocks of 3 to 4 ½  hours duration will be undertaken every day  for rehabilitation & repair works during this period.

During this period passengers can use other FOUR FOBs at Thane station for their movement. For the convenience of passengers, GRP and RPF personnel will be deployed to guide passengers to alternate FOBs. There will be regular announcements o­n the PA system  to guide passengers.

Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused due to this rehabilitation and repair work.
