
Mumbai Division: Intensive ticket checking at Kalyan Railway Station on 16.10.2023 Monday results in penalizing a total 4438 cases of ticketless/unauthorized travel registering a revenue of Rs. 16.85 Lakh in a Single day.
Central Railway Mumbai Division with 167 Ticket checking Staff and Two officers Shri Arun Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Shri Douglas Menezes Assistant Commercial Manager (Ticket Checking) and 35 RPF staff were in the team of intensive Ticket checking drive at Kalyan Railway Station on 16.10.2023.
During this ticket checking drive results in penalizing 4438 cases of ticketless/unauthorized travel registering a revenue of Rs. 16.85 /- in a single day.
To ensure comfortable travel & better services to all bonafide rail users, Mumbai division conducts intensive ticket checking in Suburban, Mail Express, Passenger services, special trains a to curb ticketless and irregular travel.
This has been possible due to the dedicated and committed work by our Ticket checking
Staff backed by numerous cases of honesty, rescue of children / minors and lifesaving acts which has helped put forward a very positive image of Railways.
Central Railway appeals to the passengers to travel with proper and valid railway tickets in order to avoid inconvenience and travel with dignity.
