Mumbai Division Achieved Remarkable milestone in October-2023.
Mumbai Division registered Best ever Freight Loading of 2.17 million tonnes for the month of October -2023, against loading of 1.85 million tonnes for the month of October-2022, with an increase of 15.40 %, is the Best loading in any month of October-2023.
Mumbai Division has registered loading of 13.09 MT for the period April-October 2023-24 as against 11.41 as compared during the same period of last year i.e. April to October-2022, with an increase of 14.70 %, this is also is the ever yearly Originating loading on central Railway. Target till October-2023 is 12.88 MT and surpassed the target by 1.60%
Mumbai Division has registered earnings of Rs. 1412.78 Crores from April to October-2023, which is the highest ever as compared to last year of Rs. 1212.55 Crores upto October-2022
Mumbai Division loaded 1531 wagons per day during the month of April October-2023 which is highest ever, as compared to 1458 wagons per day last as compare to last year.
Mumbai Division also loaded 900 Wagons per day in October-2023 which is the best ever during the current Financial Year 2023-24.
Mumbai Division interchanged 101.90 freight Trains per day as compared to 96.10 freight Trains interchanged during the same period of last year.
Mumbai Division loaded 154 Rakes of iron and Steel from Jindal Steel Works in October-2023 as compared to 151 Rakes of iron and Steel in a day loaded during the same period of last year
Special Trains
Mumbai Division run 240 trips of Special coaching trains in October 2023 including Dhamma Chakra Special Trains etc.
IRCTC Maharaja Express Tourist Train between Delhi Safdarjung and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai on 15.10.2023.
Mumbai Division run 3 Originating Full Tariff Rate (FTR) special trains from CSMT and Dadar in October-2023.
