Central Railway to run 16 Special trains between Mumbai- Mangaluru / Karmali  


Central Railway will run 16 Special Trains between Mumbai- Mangaluru and Mumbai- Karmali to clear the extra rush of Christmas and Winter-2023. The details are as under:

A.  Mumbai- Mangaluru -Mumbai Weekly Special - 4 Services

01453 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 22.15 hrs o­n Friday, 22.12.2023 and 29.12.2023 (2 Trips) and will reach Mangaluru at 17.15 hrs next day.

01454 will leave Mangaluru at 18.45 hrs o­n Saturday 23.12.2023 and 30.12.2023 (2 Trips) and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 14.25 hrs next day.

Composition: 21 ICF Coaches:-  o­ne AC-2 Tier, Five AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 7 General Second Class including 2 Luggage cum Guard’s brake van.

B.  Mumbai- Mangaluru -Mumbai Weekly AC Special - 4 Services

01155 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 22.15 hrs o­n Tuesday, 26.12.2023 and 02.01.2024 (2 Trips) and will reach Mangaluru at 17.15 hrs next day.

01156 will leave Mangaluru at 18.45 hrs o­n Wednesday 27.12.2023 and 03.01.2024 (2 Trips) and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 14.25 hrs next day.

Composition: 22 LHB Coaches:-  o­ne AC-First, Three AC-2 Tier, 15 AC-3 Tier, o­ne Pantry Car an Two Generator Car.

Halts for both Mumbai-Mangaluru trains: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Canacona, Karwar, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Bhatkal, Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal and Thokur.

C. Mumbai-Karmali- Mumbai Weekly Special (4 services)

01455 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 22.15 hrs o­n Sunday, 24.12.2023 and 31.12.2023 (2 Trips) and will reach Karmali at 11.15 hrs next day.

01456 will leave Karmali at 11.45 hrs o­n Monday 25.12.2023 and 01.01.2024 (2 Trips) and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 23.45 hrs same day.

D. Mumbai-Karmali- Mumbai Weekly AC Special (4 services)

01460 will leave Karmali at 11.45 hrs o­n Friday 22.12.2023 and 29.12.2023 (2 Trips) and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 23.45 hrs same day.

Composition: 22 LHB Coaches:-  o­ne AC-First, Three AC-2 Tier, 15 AC-3 Tier, o­ne Pantry Car an Two Generator Car.

Halts for both Mumbai-Karmali trains: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim.

Reservation: Bookings for special train no.01453, 01155, 01455 / 01456 and 01459 / 01460 o­n special charges will open o­n 22.11.2023 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in
