·ROH outturn:-

ROH outturn was 380 wagons during Aug’21 The cumulative ROH outturn has 1821 during year (Apr-21 to Aug-21)  i.e. 364 wagons per month, which is 14% more than last year monthly average figure of 318 wagons

·Highest freight train examination in BSL yard:-

During the month Aug-21 total 231 freight trains were examined in BSL yard which is the highest figure since Jan’2020.

·Controlling of sick balance:-

During the month Aug-21, total 3012 wagons were attended “on train” during examination in BSL yard which is the highest ever figure resulting sick balance of only 33 wagons on 01/09/2021. In addition, total 644 sick wagons were repaired, thus overall supporting in increasing earning potential of the Railway.

·Certification of BTPN load at PNV:

During the month Aug-21, Total 104 BTPN rakes were loaded at Panewadi. This was possible only due to immediate commercial fitness of rakes for loading of POL at Panewadi and reduction in time taken for readiness after loading. The cumulative figure for BTPN loading is 510 rakes during the year (Apr-21 to Aug-21). Also, 1916 BTPN wagons were given MS fit for loading during this month.

· Scrap disposal:-

Total 474.725 MT Scrap has been disposed & 50 FWU wagons have also been condemned during the year (Apr-21 to Aug-21).

· Examination of NMG rakes:

During the month Aug’21, total 09 NMG rakes have been examined in the division. The cumulative figure is 55 rakes during the year (Apr-21 to Aug-21).

·Examination of Kishan Express –

Examination of Kishan express was started since Aug’20 at Coaching depot/MMR. During the month total 27 rakes and cumulative since Aug’20 was 185 rakes were examined till Aug’2021.

· Examination of Millennium/(VPs) trains:

During the year (Apr-21 to Aug-21) total 22 trains (5 LHB rakes) were examined in BSL division.

· Fuel economy measure:

By close monitoring through REMMLOT as well as by attentive efforts by Power controller, 306 Goods, 526 passenger & 37 shunting DSL Locos were shut down in idling hours resulting into a saving of approx. 192700 litre HSD oil (i.e Rs 1.80 Crore approx) during Aug’21. Moreover APU(Aux. Power unit) were also shut down in idling hours resulting into a saving of approx. 5077 litre HSD oil  (i.e. Rs. 4.74 Lakhs approx.)

· Introduction of MEMU trains:

Total 12 Nos. of ICF-Medha & 06 Nos. of BEML-Bombardier Rakes of 8-Car formation was allotted to Central Railway for replacement of Loco hauled Conventional Passenger Trains. 10 Nos. of ICF-Medha & 04 Nos. of BEML-Bombardier Rakes are commissioned successfully this year.

· Quick Watering of Trains at Station :

Quick water supply on all platforms (from 1 to 8) of BSL station has been made operational from 12/01/2021. Under which watering is being done within 5 minutes in all UP and DN trains (110 numbers).

· Online Monitoring Rolling Stock (OMRS)

OMRS consist of Acoustic bearing fault detector/ hot axle and Wheel Condition Monitor. One OMRS was sanctioned for BSL division. The system is installed between WDD – MKU (BD – BSL) on UP main line on 497/1-3 Kms.. Testing of online monitoring of Rolling Stock was carried out on 14.11.2019

· EnHM Wing :

EnHM Wing has been awarded with Zonal Efficiency Shield in the first year 2018-2019 & 2019 -2020. 12 Eco smart stations of BSL Divn. (Bhusawal, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Chalisgaon, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Amravati, Burhanpur & Khandwa) has been certified as ISO 14001:2015 for Environment Management system. Consent to Establish certification for all 12 Eco smart station has been done & Consent to Operate certification for 10 out of 12 stn has been done. 400 KLD capacity in ZRTI / BSL , 4000 KLD capacity in BSL and 500 KLD capacity in MMR , Savage Treatment Plant in operation.

· Heritage Gallery :

Inaugurated the heritage park near ATTS (Traffic Training School) on 28.03.2019 for the coming generation to know and understand the history of railways to preserve the old heritage of railways. Where old heritage items of railways are systematically displayed including 01 toy train, Concept Model of Various Trains over Indian Railways, Heritage Dinette, Heritage Steam Engine & Coach etc
