Activities of Electrical Department
Electrical department of Solapur Division plays vital role to fulfill the requirement of commuters & Railway employees.
Electrical Department caters following services:
A.Out station maintenance service.
B.Train lighting & Air conditioning.
C.Traction distribution maintenance work.
D.Co-ordination with executing agencies for Railway electrification in
1)RE/SC for electrification of PJR-LUR section.
2)Construction /Pune for upcoming doubling of KPG-DD section.
E.Monitoring of electric loco hauled train movement & crew (TRO).
Monitoring work of commissioning of ELS DD Loco shed carried out by IRCON
