- Solapur Division has started procurement of services through GEM since July 2020.
- 15 vehicles across all departments along-with 24 hours vehicle for Divisional Control room was procured by using GeM Service contract by SUR Div. We were the first in Central Railway to procure such services through GeM portal.
- Other than vehicle other contract like Cleaning and housekeeping services, Manpower services, AMC etc has been taken up by Stores team and are being done on GeM portal as per the requirements of consignees.
- We have also taken initiative for local bidders to get registered in GeM and almost over 100 vendors of Solapur and nearby area have been registered with initiative of Stores Solapur.
- Total Purchase in GEM (including product and service) in whole 2019-20 was 96.20 lakhs, whereas in 2020-21(Upto Nov2020) total purchase in GEM (including product and service) is 305 lakhs at Solapur Division.
- First in CR to onboard all the consignees on UDM platform.
- Solapur Division is first to implement UDM. We have created first voucher on 27/11/2020. Details of transaction and Issue Voucher detail is given below:
- Timely Supply of K.Oil/Consumables to all stations for period up to Nov - 2020.
- Foot to foot surveys of entire Solapur Division Completed by 15 December 2020
- All obsolete structures are being identified and put for sale at SUR division.
- E- Office has been fully implemented in SUR div Stores. No paper transaction is being done at Stores Solapur. Our Stores IT team has a key role in helping other departments in the division to enable them to work on e platforms like e office, iMMS, UDM.
- Preparation of Coaches as a Covid care centre:1)Oxygen cylinder, 2)Curtains, 3)Oxygen Cylinder Kit, 4)Dustbins, 5)Bed sheet, 6) Pillow. All the above items required for preparation of coaches as COVID care centre were arranged in record time in Solapur Division.
- Renovation of physiotherapy department:In physiotherapy department, entire old furniture is sold in e-auction at approximate cost of 2 lakhs and whole new furniture was procured. The entire process from scrapping to purchasing was done in record time.
- COVID-19 Response by Stores Team- SUR Div. stores team arranged all the critical items required to enable frontline Medical staff to fight COVID-19. The items like PPE kits, Gloves, masks, Goggles, Face shields, ventilators, Lab equipment, Hospital furniture, and Oxygen cylinders were arranged in record time during lockdown when it was very challenging to arrange these items in time.
