Role of Chief Electrical Engineer/ Operating
The Chief Electrical Engineer/ Operating is the technical head of Operation of Electric locomotive in Central Railway, Maintenance & upkeep of Running Room, Crew Lobbies, Trip sheds at BB, BSL & NGP Divisions. He keep watch on all types of unusual happening in train operation and prepare statistics related to Locomotives and Crew. He is responsible for Implementation of GR&SR paras related to Asstt. Loco Pilots, Loco Pilots, Locos Pilot Shunting & Motorman related to working of train and Training of Asstt. Loco Pilot/Loco Pilot/Loco Pilot Shunting/Motorman in DTC & ZRTI/BSL.
He is also responsible for all crew related operations related to issues in operation of Diesel Locomotive, Co-ordination issues regarding Crew Training/counseling in operation, Maintenance & upkeep of Running Room & Crew Lobbies at PA & SUR Divisions, All Sign ON Records, CMS related, Safety related, Training related issues of Diesel Loco Running staff, DSL fuelling issues concerning Loco Running staff, Training of Asstt Loco Pilot/ Loco Print/Loco Pilot Shunting in DTC & ZRTI/BSL. Implementation of GR&SR paras related to Asstt Loco Pilots, Loco Pilots, Loco Pilot Shunting related to working of train.
