Construction Organisation is headed by Chief Administrative Officer (Construction). There are at present 5 Chief Engineers of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) cadre [CE(C)MTP, CE(C)SOUTH, CE(C)CENTRAL, CE(C)NORTH & CPM/NGP@CSMT], 2 Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineers, 1 Chief Electrical Engineer (C) and 2 Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officers are working under CAO(C).
