Brief History

Bhusaval station is the first electrified station of the Division, electrified in the Year 1931. Earlier there was Railways Thermal Power House at Bhusaval maintained by Elect (G) branch to cater the demand of Electricity required for Railways installation like station lighting, pumping, etc. There after phase wise other stations were electrified. At present Electricity is purchased from SEB’s for all 99 Electrified stations, Level crossing Gates, etc. Electrical (G) branch looks after all Electrical works other than Traction.
