· ROH outturn:-
The cumulative ROH outturn of 4928 wagons was achieved during the year 2022-23, which is 09% more than previous year figures of 4531 wagons. It is highlights that the ROH outturn during Mar’23 was 471 wagons which is the best ever figure of the division. It is also highlighted that, there has continual improvement in ROH outturn during the year i.e. during Dec’22 -445 wagons, Jan’23-465 wagons, Feb’23-424 wagons and in Mar-23-471 which is the highest everfigure.
· Freight train examination in BSL yard:-
During the month Mar’23, total 202 freight trains were intensively examined. Cumulative figure of the current year is 2583 trains. Also total 1287 wagons were “made fit” on train and avoid the detachment.
· Controlling of sick balance:-
The wagon ineffective during the month Mar’23 was 0.87% on Mechanical sick account.
· Certification of BTPN load at PNV:
During the month Mar’23, total 121 BTPN rakes were loaded at PNV. The cumulative figure during the current year is 1291 rakes.Also, 1949 BTPN wagons were given MS fit for loading during the month.
· Scrap disposal:
Total 1456.623 MT scrap has been disposed during the year 22-23. Also, 53 wagons & 31 coaches condemned in year 22-23.
· Examination of NMG rakes:
During the month Mar’23, total 18 NMG rakeshave been examined. The cumulative figure during the current year is 147 rakes.
· Examination of Kisan Express –
During the Month Mar’23, total 06 Kisan rakes of the train were examined. The cumulative figure during the current year is 69 trains
· Examination of Millennium/(VPs) trains:
During the Month Mar’23, total 16 Millennium train were examined.The cumulative figure during the current year is 159.
· Fuel economy measure:
By close monitoring through REMMLOT as well as by attentive efforts by Power controller, total 10919 Nos. DSL locos were shutdown in idling hours resulting into a saving of approx. Rs 27.65 Crore approx) in during year 2022-23.
· Introduction of MEMU trains:
Total 09 Nos. of ICF-Medha, 01 No. of ICF Bombardier & 06 Nos. of BEML-Bombardier Rakes of 8-Car formation are being maintained in coaching complex BSL. They have replaced Loco hauled Conventional Passenger Trains.
Quick Watering of Trains at Station :
Quick water supply on all platforms (from 1 to 8) of BSL station has been made operational from 12/01/2021.
Online Monitoring Rolling Stock (OMRS)
OMRS consist of Acoustic bearing fault detector and Wheel Condition Monitor. One OMRS was sanctioned for BSL division. The system is installed between WDD – MKU (SEG – BSL) on UP main line on 497/1-3 Kms & Testing of online monitoring of Rolling Stock was carried out on 14.11.2019. also 01 other system is installed between MKU-WDD (BSL - SEG) on DN main line on 497/42 Kms. & Testing of online monitoring of Rolling Stock was carried out on 15.11.2021
· EnHM Wing :
EnHM Wing has been awarded with Zonal Efficiency Shield three times in CR.
Eco smart stations : Renewal of ISO:14001Certification for Bhusawal, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Chalisgaon, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Amravati, Burhanpur & Khandwa is under process
Consent to Establish certification for all 12 Eco smart stations has been done & Consent to Operate renewal certification for 09 Station (BSL, JL, CSN, AK, AMI, BD, NK, MMR, MKU) is obtained & Renewal of CTO certificate of KNW & BAU is pending at MPPCB end.
Sewage Treatment Plant in operation : 400 KLD capacity in ZRTI / BSL , 4000 KLD capacity in BSL and 500 KLD capacity in MMR, 200 KLD capacity in NKRD, 500 KLD capacity in KNW & 500 KLD capacity in AK.
Sewage Treatment Plant under commissioning: AMI (500 KLD capacity each)

·Heritage Gallery :
Inaugurated the Heritage Gallery near ATTS (Traffic Training School) open for public from 28.01.2022 for the coming generation to know and understand the history of railways to preserve the old heritage of railways. Where old heritage items of railways are systematically displayed including 01 toy train, Concept Model of Various Trains over Indian Railways, Heritage Dinette, Heritage Steam Engine & Coach etc.
