INITIATIVES & INNOVATIONS

  • To prevent the falling of ZS coupler during en-route, BB division designed an additional securing arrangement of ZS coupler by PVC rope and hook lock with coupler female socket cover rod.
 
  • CMM Electrical escorting App has been launched in all Primary trains of BB division to reducing Rail Madad complaints also getting arrival report of train to the rake Engineer in advance resulted attention of major & minor failures can be done in time.

  • Quick response stickers with phone numbers are provided in coaches to avoid delay in attention of electrical complaints.

  • BB Division is successfully maintained 14 ICF (325 trips) + 10 LHB (64 trips) Special Trains for 2022-23 up to January 2023.
  • A cumulative saving of HSD oil for 2022-23 for (Apr-22 to Jan-23) Approx. Rs. 73.47 Cr. due to HOG operation.

  • BB Division is successfully maintained 27 ICF (372 trips) + 14 LHB (122 trips) Special Trains for 2023-24 up to January 2024.
  • A cumulative saving of HSD oil for 2023-24 for (Apr-23 to Jan-24) Approx. Rs. 86.62 Cr. due to HOG operation.



OTA & TA

  • OT is unavoidable in Elect. Cog. due to Escorting duty of ACCMs.
  • Various steps have been taken like centralized booking of ACCMs & strictly following the no. of ACCM in rains as per guidelines of Rly. Bd. resulted that substantial reduction in OT from Rs. 23 Cr. Per year to Rs. 10 Cr. (Approx.) per year & net saving of 12-13 Cr. (Approx.) per year. TA & NDA amount is also has been reduced in same proportion as in case of OT for Escorting staff.

  • There is no OT given to any of supervisor during last 02 years, which was earlier use to given specially in summer season and during operation of holiday specials.
