Welcome to Bhusawal - Medical Department Medical department of Bhusawal Division of Central Railway takes care of about 1.18 lakhs beneficiaries. Among these 21665 are current employees and about 16000 are retired employees. Others are the families. As on 31.01.2024 The medical department is having one Divisional Railway hospital at BSL, one Sub Divisional Hospital at MMR, and nine health units at Nasik station, Nasik TMW, NGN, CSN, SGN. MZR, BD, KNW and at ZRTI of BSL. The sanctioned strength of medical officers in BSL division is 36. There are two group B officers (ANO) posted at DRH BSL. The sanctioned strength of group C staff is 200 and that of group D is 472. There are 28 Health inspectors and one Food safety officer available in the division. DRH BSL is a secondary level hospital with 250 beds indoor facility in Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and ICU. There are 03 nos of well-equipped operation theatres. The OPD facilities available in the hospital include Hypertension clinic, Diabetic clinic, Cardiac clinic, Dental clinic, Chest clinic, Psychiatry clinic, Child health clinic, physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre, Spastic centre and SBF’s Ayurveda & Homeopathy dispensary. DRH BSL is having a well-equipped laboratory where blood, stool, urine, sputum and other samples are collected for biochemical, immunological, bacteriological and histopathological examinations. Investigations not available in this hospital are being done from empaneled lab.
