Criteria for enhancement of the category or addition of Trade Group.
(i) a) This issue will be dealt with only at the time of registration or renewal of firms. Once category is decided, it will continue for the ensuing period till review.
b) The trading firms shall be entitled for Category ‘G’ at the time of initial registration. However, the monetary values of firms who are authorized agents of manufacturers can be fixed at 1/10th of average annual value of order executed during the last 3 years to C.Rly. The firms who are the authorized importers of the agents of manufacturers, will also be considered at par with trading firm.
ii) Category of other manufacturers will depend upon five high value purchase orders secured by them and the average value of those orders which can be 10 % of net worth.
