BRIEF ABOUT Sr. DFM OFFICE:
The Accounts Department of Mumbai Division is headed by Sr. DFM, assisted by 2 DFMs. 4 ADFMs and 118 total SSOs / ISA and staff. Total sanctioned strength of the staff is 198 including Gr. D staff. Mumbai division is one of the largest divisions over Central Railway in view of its staff strength and its varied activities. There are approximately 31000 employees and 45000 pensioners. Sr. DFM office undertakes Accounts and Finance responsibilities of entire Mumbai Division. Approximately 500 financial proposals and estimates per month of all the departments are being dealt by Sr. DFM Office per year.
