The Mumbai suburban consists of three carsheds. Kurla and Kalwa are situated on Main line. Sanpadacarshed is situated on Harbour line. Kurlacarshed is catering EMU rakes for the Main line, Kalwacarshed is catering partially for Main line and partially for Harbour / Transharbour line and Sanpadacarshed is catering for Harbour / Transharbour and BSU line. Apart from carsheds there are stabling lines at 20 various places. Daily safety TSRT check is being done for all stabled rakes at carsheds and stabling ends.
