Performance of the Coaching Department
  • 100 percent adoption of LEDs in coaching works has been completed. 
  • Conversion of Non-HOG into HOG compliance coaches completed. 
  • Shifting of Mobile charging switch from under frame to panel in Non-AC LHB coaches. (As per RDSO Letter No. EL/7.1.108/355 dtd.19.08.2021) Cumulative 623 Coaches done out of 625 coaches. 
  • Provision of isolating contactors (NET-1/NET-2) modification complete in 105 LHB Power Cars. 
  • To avoid any kind of spark during run in Luggage light modification work completed in Total 111 Nos. Power Cars & LSLRD. 
  • BB Division is successfully running 38 trains with HOG and RAJDHANI EXPRESS is running with Push-Pull compliance. 
  • BB Division is successfully maintaining the rake of VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS (CSMT-SNSI) & (CSMT-SUR) which inaugurated by Prime Minister of India on 10.02.2023.
  • BB Division is successfully maintaining the rake of VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS (CSMT-MAO) which inaugurated by Prime Minister of India on 27.06.2023.
  • Innovation- Provision of safety chain to ZS coupler with steel rope and S-hook, being done with in-house material and bare minimum cost in all LHB coaches. (Non-power car and non LSLRD coaches, which were done already) Cumulative 1158 Coaches done out of 1336 coaches.

  • Replacement of 6.5 kw capacity Regulated Battery Charger to 4.5 kw Regulated Battery Charger. Cumulative Total=150 Nos. coaches modification done.

  • Provision of individual MPCB for water Pumps and shifting of its controller to onboard in set of panels for LHB Non-AC/EOG Coaches. (As per RDSO Letter No. EL/7.1.108/SBC/355/ Non-AC Coaches dated 24.01.2023) Cumulative Total=173 Nos. coaches done out of 320 coaches.

  • Provision of 750V Power supply for Maintenance of HOG Coaches in 8 washing line of WB & 8 washing line of LTT Depot has been done and LHB rakes are being testing during primary maintenance with help of it.

  • Bypass provision of extending supply to OMS/RA Coach. (As per RDSO Letter No. EL/1.6.9.22/HOG Main dated 29.04.2019) Cumulative Total 38 Nos. power cars done.
