Introduction of Modern Signalling System for better performance & reliability

a)Audio Frequency track circuits.

                         i.41 Nos. of Alstom AFTC commissioned at Bhandup & Mumbra.

                   ii.62 Nos. of Siemens AFTC commissioned at Sion, Diva, Vangani, Vashi-Sanpada-Belapur Section and Panvel Stations.

b)71 Nos. of LED Signal unit and 255 aspect provided for batter visibility.

c)Digital Axle counter:

  i)Multi-Section Digital Axle counter provided in flood prone area parallel withexisting Track Circuit at Byculla, Parel, Raoli, Sewri and Dombivli. Thus, total 55 Track Circuit (70 DP, 17 Evaluators) are provided with DAC. All the work was carried out departmentally except foundations & fitting of DP’s.

ii)3 Nos. of Multi-Section Alcatel Make Digital Axle Counter Track Circuit provided at Mazgaon.

iii)Siemens DAC Track Circuit provided at Waldhani Bridge Near Shahad stations with Steel channel sleeper o­n UP & DN Line and 2 Nos. at Mumbra.

iv)10 Nos. of Single-Section Eldine Make DAC Track Circuit provided at Jasai Yard.

d)Datalogger commissionedat Jasai A ,Jasai B Cabin, NSPT, Jambrung Cabin & Mumbra.
