       1.      SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT / ACHIEVEMENT:

     1.1      All Unmanned LC eliminated by 31.03.2015

     1.2      Nos. of manned LC closed during 2020-21= 20 Nos.

     1.3      Nos. of Rehabilitation Bridges during 2020-21 =37 Nos.

     1.4      Removal of Permanent speed Restriction during 2020-21 = 6 Nos.

     1.5      Track Rail Renewal during 2020-21 = 49.74 Kms.

     1.6      Total 44.095 km doubling work completed in FY 2020-21. (KUI-SVG 26.99 km,                YL-ANK 14.55 km and HG-BJP 2.555 km).

       2.      ENVIRONMENT RELATED WORK:

      Position of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), Auto–Chlorination plant on    Solapur Division


2.1.   Provision of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)-There are three nos. of STP plant
         are commissioned as below:

     · LUR -15KLD capacity-plant commissioned on 19.07.2020.

2.2.   STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)-Presently, Five nos. of STP plant of capacity of 15/50

        KLD are being executed:

     · ANG -  50KLD capacity- Work is in progress.

     · KPG – 15KLD capacity- Work is in progress.

     · SNSI – 15KLD capacity- Work is in progress.

     · SUR-    15KLD capacity- is being commissioned shortly.

     · The recycled water is being utilized for PF, Apron & Carriage washing. Also           this water is being utilized for maintenance of gardens


3.   Auto–Chlorination plant – 

     There are total 80 nos of Auto –Chlorination plant are provided on various                             location/stations of division for improvement to quality of drinking water.


4.       CRS INSPECTION: 

4.1. CRS inspection of Yeola–Ankai section doubling (15.13 km total & 14.55 of SUR division) done on 14.09.2020 CRS vide authorization letter No. C-12(230)/2020/456 dtd. 14.09.2020 accorded sanction for opening Yeola-Ankai newly constructed B.G. line for doubling for the public carriage of passengers at max. permissible speed of 100 kmph.

4.2. CRS inspection of Savalgi–Kulali section doubling (26.99km) done on 11.11.2020 CRS vide authorization letter No. C-12(234)/2020/573 dtd. 12.11.2020 accorded sanction for opening Savalgi – Kulali newly constructed B.G. line for doubling for the public carriage of passengers at max. permissible speed of 90 kmph.


5.   IMPROVEMENTS IN PASSENGER AMENITIES:

5.1.  At Sainagar Shirdi - Cover over platform No.1&2 with seating arrangement, 3-                seater benches, coach guidance system etc. provided

5.2.  At Ahmadnagar - 6 m wide foot over bridge with escalator provided.

5.3.  At Solapur - Provision of passenger amenities & development of circulating                    areas etc. and 6m wide FOB  provided.

5.4.  At Daund extension of 6m wide FOB done.

5.5.  Prefabricated Divyang toilets provided at 8 stations i.e. SGND, BWD, VPR,                    SRL, VL, PDGN, CIT, KNGN, YL.

5.6.  LUR- Provision of 3.20 Kms D. I. Pipeline from MJP source to Latur Station with
        dedicated RCC HS tank and UG sump work completed.

6.     INNOVATION BY SOLAPUR DIVISION - MECHANICAL GREASING MACHINE:

      A Mechanical Rail Gauge Face Greasing Machine has been innovated in Solapur Division of Central Railway. In case of manual greasing work of track gauge faces, time consumption is higher but output is less. But, the newly developed greasing machine is very simple in operation and very efficient. 

    Now, one person can carry out approx. 6 Km/Day greasing with the help of this machine, whereas earlier manual working output was approx. 1 to 1.5 Km/Day.

   How to file RTI application:- In two ways you can file RTI application:-

     1) On Line Mode – Through Online RTI portal – (https://rtionline.gov.in)

     2) Off Line Mode – Manual application to be submitted at Sr.DCM office –  

         Address:- Divisional Railway Manager office, Commercial Branch, 
                           Solapur 413001.

         Fees- * RTI application fees are Rs.10/-. 

                   * Free of Cost for Person with Below Poverty Line.

                   * Mode of Payments ( in favour of Sr.DFM / Solapur)

                     a) Demand Draft, 

                     b) Indian Postal Orders, 

                     c) UTS counter Money Receipt of Rs.10/-.
